    I love this video!

    in From the Referee Admin

This was sent in the Whistle Stop newsletter during the week of 2/18/2018. It shows exactly why we talk about positioning as a referee, about being in a place to see the space between players. (The fact that it says a lot about why those on the touchline should keep their mouths shut is a bit of a bonus, in my opinion). It is also a great example of being sure that there was a foul, especially if it's a decision that could decide the game!

If you haven't seen this yet, you can find it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-lNODXuA6k. If you don't subscribe to Whistle Stop, go to http://www.ayso.org/For_Volunteers/referees/Whistle_Stop.htm and click on the Sign Up link. The newsletter is a great source of information and education!
